I just heard that Toyota Australia is producing a new range of performance vehicles under the TRD brand. Instead of just parts they're doing full cars. You can find out at trd.com.au. It looks pretty cool, does anybody know if these will be available in the US?

Probably not for some time - but anything is possible. The US market is not strong enough for Toyota to offer a specialty performance package. Hence the eventually demise of the Supra, Celica, MR2/MRS and XRS nameplate in the Corolla/Matrix.
Supposedly, the new Maxtrix coming out is almost an exact copy of the "Blade" market car overseas. Using the 2.4L engine instead of the 1.8L currently used, in addition to all the aftermarket support for the 2.4L already in place - means that Toyota could be posturing for making a performance comeback.
