Does anyone know how to bypass or deactivate the alarm system on a 1990 Toyota Camry. My son is out of town and does not have the alarm remote because he has had it disabled for years. Something has reactivated it and he can not get his car to start. I need help ASAP because he needs to leave town 7-18-07.

Depends if it is an OEM system, one installed by the dealership (port-side install), or an aftemarket?
Normally there is a button under the steering column or next to the alarm module (something out of the way but still hidden from sight - to disarm the system). This applies to some factory and dealer installations, and most aftermarket systems.
If it is a factory system - you can disarm it via the key fob or by inserting the key into the door and lock, unlock, lock, and unlocking it or by inserting the key into the ignition and turning it from ON to ACC to ON to disable the alarm.
