Hey guys. I have a guy that wants to give me a 1984 Celica GTS. The only problem is that it was torched on the inside.I believe the drivetrain is still all good. Is the 22r engine worth getting and selling. It was running like a scalded dog before the fire. My car is a Corrolla SR5 coupe. Was also wondering if the wheels off the Celica would fit my Corrolla. Or maybe an engine swap....Just looking for some input. Thanks

The wheels would likely fit; an engine swap is another question. How do you know how the engine was running before the car was torched?

That\'s a shame that the Celica was torched; it actually kind of breaks my heart as I\'m such a fan of the car! The GTS is a great engine and I hope the swap works out for you - I feel that it should be too hard between the Celica and Corolla, but I don\'t know for sure because I don\'t know as much about the older models.
